Importing into Switzerland: duties, VAT and fees

Duty-free threshold
No duty on industrial goods since 2024. VAT of CHF 5 or less is not collected (about CHF 62 of goods at 8.1%).
VAT / sales tax
8.1% VAT (2.6% for food and books) on value + transport + duty.

Carrier clearance fee (Swiss Post from about CHF 10).
